First Prize Winners at the Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition in 2018, the Esmé Quartet are equally at ease in the classical masterworks as in contemporary repertoire. Formed in Germany, the quartet quickly gained international recognition for its mesmerizing performances. The Esmé Quartet is currently the ensemble in residence at San Francisco Performances and on the faculty of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. They will also be the featured guests at our Musical Chairs fundraiser on Friday, April 16. esmequartet.com

Seating is general admission. Doors open 30 minutes before the concert. Children under the age of seven are not admitted to the concerts on the series, but they are warmly welcomed at our Family Concerts!
